LUBRICANT
The food processing industry can be confident in the food-grade integrity of Brautek’s products because we hold ourselves to the highest possible standards. All of Brautek’s food grade products meets with NSF for H1 application (lubricants with incidental food contact). Brautek’s focus on food safety and gives our customers further confidence in the quality of our products.
Many of the negative traits often associated with food grade products — shorter lubricant life, more equipment wear, etc. – do not apply at Brautek. By using our extensive experience in the lubrication business and by applying the latest technologies, our research and development team has created a line of food safe, H1 products that meet or exceed the performance of conventional lubricants.
Applications
Our products can be used in any application that requires a food grade product (many times required by the law), including the production of canned goods, frozen foods, fresh fruits and vegetables, bread, milk, etc. Food grade specifications also apply in health care products such as toothpaste, creams, cough syrup, etc.

LUBRICANT OILS
HYMAX FG SERIES
HYMAX FG hydraulic oils are formulated specially for hydraulic systems operating in the food service, beverage, and packaging industries.
HYMAX FG lubricants are NSF Registered and meet USDA 1998 (H-1) guidelines (lubricants with incidental food contact).
SYNAULIK SHO FG SERIES
SYNAULIK SHO FG oils have been designed to offer the absolute best solubility that can be found in a food grade hydraulic fluid. The enhanced solubility allows hydraulic systems to operate cleaner by reducing sludge formation from contaminants being ingested into the oil. This solubility lets valves, actuators, pumps, and other key components of a hydraulic system operate smoothly with no jerking or slowed travel of valves.
SYNAULIK SHO FG Series oils are ashless and are compatible with seal materials used in hydraulic systems. Excellent wear and anti-corrosion properties are also important characteristics of this series. SYNAULIK SHO FG Series hydraulic oils are formulated for use in hydraulic systems found in the Food & Beverage Industry (H1) usually in processing, beverage, and packaging lines.
GEARMAX FG SERIES
GEARMAX FG are ideal for the lubrication of manufacturing equipment in beverage canning, bottling operations, meat and poultry processing, dairy operations, fruit and vegetable processing, bakeries, and pharmaceutical plants.
GEARMAX FG lubricants are NSF Registered and meed USDA 1998 (HI) guidelines (lubricants) with incidental food contact). This product is produced in an ISO 21469 certified facility.
SYNCROWN SHO FG SERIES
SYNCROWN SHO FG is formulated for gear systems operation in the food service and packaging industry. These fully synthetic lubricants are NSF Registered and meet USDA 1998 (H-1) guidelines (lubricants with incidental food contact).
SYN AIR PRESS SHO FG SERIES
SYN AIR PRESS SHO FG lubricants are specially designed for rotary screw, vane, reciprocating air compressors and vacuum pumps used in the food service industry. These lubricants are produced with 100% multisynthetic base oils in combination with performance driven additives. Field tests have shownSYN AIR PRESS SHO FG will last between 8,000 and 10,000 hours depending on operating conditions.
FRIEREN SHO 68 FG
FRIEREN SHO 68 FG synthetic hydrocarbon refrigeration lubricants designed to function under severe service conditions. These fluids have a very high viscosity index, contain no paraffin and are compatible with various fluorinated refrigerants, ammonia, methyl chloride and carbon dioxide.
FRIEREN SHO 68 is completely miscible with petroleum-based fluids. These fully synthetic lubricants are NSF Registered and meet USDA 1998 (H1) guidelines (lubricants with incidental food contact).
LUBRICANT GREASES
G-TEK XAL FOOD SERIES
G-TEK XAL FOOD Grease is a food grade grease designed specifically for lubrication of the wide range of applications in the food industry. This grease is formulated with an aluminum complex thickener and other permitted ingredients including base oils and additives to meet the stringent requirements of the food industry. This grease has high load carrying capabilities, rust preventive and excellent water resistant properties.
G-TEK CSC FOOD SERIES
G-TEK CSC FOOD Grease is a new generation H1 Food Grade Grease designed specifically for lubrication of the most severe applications in the food industry. This grease is an overbased calcium sulfonate based greased formulated with permitted ingredients and also include anti-oxidants, extreme pressure and anti-wear additives to meet the most stringent requirements of the industry. This innovative grease outperforms all other food grade greases like calcium base, clay base and even aluminum complex base greases.
